Following in the footsteps of a Great Waterford Author Dervla Murphy, Waterford Libraries and Illustrator/Author Kathi Burke will work with students from Blackwater Community school, Lismore Co. Waterford to explore place, travel and self-expression.

These workshops will help young people to engage with the writing of Dervla Murphy and encourage them to examine their relationship with their place, the world and how they travel in it.

The work produced will then be exhibited and celebrated in Lismore and the rest of the county. Full updates on the project and exhibition will be listed on the Waterford City & County Council website in October.
