Creative Ireland Creative communities programme, Wexford County Council and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) North Wexford will run a programme to support the recovery and wellbeing of young people attending CAMHS through art.

Artists Sonya Weston and Deirdre Travers will in a positive and safe space support a group of teenagers to produce a publication of their own design.

Through a series of workshops, participants will be introduced to various mediums such as lino printing, mono printing, collage, painting, digital photography, and alternative photography.  Participants will also engage with editing apps on the computer and their phones. They will scan their work and be active in the editing process of choosing the work that goes into the publication/art book.

The theme of this publication will develop though workshops and conversation with the participants. Each week the participants will be introduced to new artists for different inspiration plus images on what a publication is.
