Early Years Creative Arts Programme
An early years creative arts programme that aims to embed the culture of arts within community settings from the earliest age, supporting neurological development and allowing early years children to explore and comprehend the world through creative activities.
Working in North Clondalkin Library and Clondalkin Library, with artist Fernanda Ferrari and Mother Tongues, who are a social enterprise group that promotes multilingualism and intercultural dialogue in Ireland for a more open society.
The programme has two strands:
- A series of open workshops that use the visual arts to explore languages and culture with children and their guardians. Dates to be confirmed. Further information will be announced on North Clondalkin Library and Clondalkin libraries social media pages.
- Working with South Dublin childcare committee, a series of closed workshops with refugee centres in Clondalkin and in Tallaght.
