Building on the success of the projects undertaken in the previous two years the project this year proposes to build a full scale Nativity scene using forestry logs consistent with the previous projects. We have made a conscious decision to use natural green materials to promote an environmental approach to enhancing the village for the festive season.

The local national School children will be involved this year through workshops held in the school making lanterns that will be used in a Choir service in the week before Christmas. Workshops in schools starts 5/12/2022.

Community Participation is the local national school, Geevagh Choir, Mens Shed, GLAD, community volunteers.

Local artist is Eileen MacDonagh.
