Laois Arts Office in partnership with Laois Media Network and Dunamaise Arts Centre invite you to its augural Laois Screen Networking event at Dunamaise Arts Centre as part of the development and promotion of screen media in the county with activities such as, speed networking, launch of the Laois Short Film Bursary 2023, and invited speakers including:

-Arthur Lappin, award winning film and stage producer, and cultural consultant launches Laois’s Short Film Bursary 2023 with Q&A

-Carla Mooney, co-founder and executive producer of award winning production company, Cardel Entertainment

-Lynn Daly, Film Officer Dublin City Council on how to create a film friendly environment 

-Short film screenings Waiting by Isabelle Blanche (16'09"); Useless Dog by Ken Wardrop (5'12"); and Vegetable by Michéal Fleming (12'34") selected by Séamus Duggan, RTÉ Shortscreen programmer.

-A panel discussion with above experts and also includes David Butler (animator, illustrator, producer) currently producing 'The Light Within' (winner of the Laois short film bursary 2022); and Leeona Duff, producer from Up on Blue Bridge Productions leading on a location scouting initiative across the county.
