A free course for Kilkenny County Council staff across all relevant departments enabling them to learn how to use online digital tools to promote and raise the profile of projects and programmes. The programme includes seven sessions and will include:

• How to use your phone to make images and film for your online community.
• How to video on your mobile phone and iPad/ tablet using the free cross platform App 'Inshot.'
• Produce stop- motion animations and time- lapse on your mobile phone and iPad/ tablet using frees software called iMotion and Stop Motion Studio.
• Broadcasting. Learn how to host events using Facebook live and Zoom.

This session will end with a look at how to use Teams as a tool for meetings, workshops and a list of dos and don'ts when using the App and using the free App Screen- cast O'Matic for recording presentations, talks and also for research using Screen Recording techniques.

In this workshop you will be shown online resources for archival maps, photographs, music , song and film. 

The final session looks at do's and don'ts when recording people and techniques used regarding questions and content using your phone/ video camera.
