Offaly libraries Comic Con is a one day programme of events including workshops, Lego free play sessions, Vex Robotics, Cosplay competition and vendor stalls. The library is transformed into a typical Comic Con exhibition space with variety of pop culture spectacles including Ghostbusters, R2D2, Star wars storm troopers, Dalek and much more. For the more traditional Comic Con attendees, there is a special dungeons & dragons and Warhammer game areas promoting storytelling through play suitable for ages 12+.  

The workshops include Draw your own Comic cover, Create a Comic Character and Comic Writing suitable for ages 8-12 years old. 

The cosplay competition includes 4 different categories - Children, Young Adult, Adult and Homemade. There are additional prizes such as Judges choice and special mentions. 

Suitable for all age groups and all are welcome to Tullamore Library on Saturday 18th June 2022 from 10am - 4pm.
