Creative Thinking & Public Speaking for Teenagers with Fingal Toastmasters
This initiative comprises a series of six workshops aimed at developing skills in the area of creative thinking and public speaking for teenagers. The workshops will be held in Malahide Library and the project has been organised in conjunction with Fingal Toastmasters and a local secondary school, Scoil Iosa in Malahide. The classes involved are transition year students. The workshops are therefore not open to the public.
The dates for the first three workshops are as follows:
Friday - October 14th - 9.45am - 12.45pm
Friday - November 11th - 9.45am - 12.45pm
Friday - December 16th - 9.45am - 12.45pm
The dates for the final three workshops, which will take place in January, February and March 2023, are yet to be confirmed.
This initiative will provide a platform to develop teenagers self-confidence and public speaking ability that will help them in school and in their future careers. The workshops will give teenagers the stimulation they need to explore issues and concepts whilst tapping into their imagination, and all in a supportive environment.
