Surreal Christmas Mashup workshops with Hunt Museum
Using Virtual Reality, children will encounter the hybrid and imagined animals who inhabit the fantastical and surreal worlds of Garden of Earthly Delights, an iconic Renaissance painting by Hieronymus Bosch. They will then explore characters, iconography and colours associated with Christmas and mix them up to create their own unique clay-based Christmas tree decorations. These will then be displayed on the Christmas tree located in the communal area of the Knockalisheen Direct Provision Centre so that other residents can enjoy them.
