In Search of Identity 3

Following a huge success of 2019 and 2020 “In Search of Identity Project 1&2” PAF wants to continue to work with the Polish community in a series of workshops leading to a live outdoor performance. We plan to deliver a series of workshops working with the community through voice vibrations, dance therapy, spoken word, physical theatre & music.

We enhance the connection between the ways the participants’ move, sounds they produce and the emotions they express and encourage self-reflection and expression via means of performing arts. We invite participants to explore the emotions and change that they have experienced during Covid-19 lockdown and express and transform them through the language of drama, music & dance leading to a live outdoor performance.

We document the process in a form of a short video & livestream the final performance during the 14th PAF in September 2021 in The Hunt Museum Gardens. The project is led by 3 multidisciplinary artists and allows the community to access culture at their doorstep and be a part of a project that not only transforms them on emotional level but gives them pride of their origins and strengthens the idea of belonging & connecting in the times of isolation.
