The Saol Fada an Cheoil project sees monthly traditional music sessions being held for young people in the Drumshallon Forge Heritage Centre in County Louth on Sunday afternoons during the summer of 2021. 

The sessions will be facilitated by local musicians Aine, Brid and Mick Dunne from Ballymakenny and will have a particular focus on playing tunes from the Seisiúin na nÓg tune book that was produced in 2020.  A video recording will be made of the sessions with acknowledgement of Creative Ireland funding which will be shared widely on social media.
