Kildysart Drama Society was founded in 1998 and is located in the rural village of Kildysart, County Clare. The group are celebrating 21 successful years since their first production of 'Sive' in 1999 to their latest, 'Nobody's talking to me', in 2019.  The group has gone from strength to strength over the years, now attracting approximately 1,500 audience members each year to their productions.

Their usual production cannot take place due to Covid, so instead they have produced a 35 minute documentary which captures Kildysart Drama's funniest and most memorable moments from down through the years.

It takes you up close and personal with some of the group's most loved characters, past and present. This documentary will give you an insight into drama life and what Kildysart drama means to the community and those involved. You'll get the full lowdown on what it's like to be part of Kildysart Drama and the goings-on at rehearsals and production nights.
