Mhuine Bheag Arts is led by local artist Mark Buckeridge and curator Leah Corbett who will oversee all aspects of the project and ensure that it aligns with the ethos that art is for everyone. With professional artists leading activities through their practice, art will be used as a tool to connect people, creating space for collaboration and creativity and providing a platform for sharing new ideas. The programme of events will include workshops, film screenings and talks which will appeal to a wide range of interests.

Phase 1 of this project will work with cultural practitioners as they develop and plan opportunities for engagement with the local community in Mhuine Bheag through a public programme of art and events.
