Our Libraries are hubs for our Creative Communities and every year they have a wonderful and varied outreach programme to engage with people of all ages. They began in March with 'Mná Month', designating the month as an interactive celebration of Irish Women across the Dewey Decimal System.

A programme was developed including interactive talks, workshops exhibitions and discussions. Female mentors both local and national were engaged to facilitate these events. As part of their Creative Waste Re Use Festival they have teamed up with the Rediscovery Centre for workshops in November and December. The Childrens Book Festival went online this year and 45 events were held with 7 authors.
