The Goldsmith Winter Festival is a complementary initiative to the annual Goldsmith Summer Festival, which is held to mark the birthday of writer, Oliver Goldsmith. The GWF is in it's third year and will provide an opportunity for local writers and performers to showcase their work, and raise awareness of the impact of the locally-born author. 

This year, due to COVID-19 level 5 restrictions, an online event with a blend of live-streamed talks and pre-recorded short videos on aspects of Goldsmith's life, works, and his impact, will be hosted on the 28 November by the committee.
