The Sligo Way is a 76Km linear recreational trail navigating Co. Sligo. This project will incorporate bespoke cut limestone wayfinding bi-directional markers set at 1km intervals along a 10km off-road section of the trail. The trail directional markers are inspired and draw from the landscape as a reference, with the design and installation of the artistically sculptured wayfinding markers commissioned by a local sculptor, who will undertake these interventions sensitively positioned within Sligo's landscape.
