Creative Ireland Laois in association with Laois Enterprise Office is offering free Online Professional Development Training: Digital Technologies Upskilling for the Cultural & Creative Sector.

All you need to know about creating and editing content with a smartphone. Each of the seven sessions will focus on a new learning including, developing content plan; video marketing story; presentation & communication skills; making and editing a video selfie interview; equipment & pop up studio; advanced editing; social media and engaging audiences online. 

At the end of the course you will have made a video interview and video marketing story, with the confidence to create quality videos and content on your smartphone. You will also have developed a social media strategy to engage online audiences & promote your work.

The training will be delivered by Aileen O’Meara who is one of Ireland’s leading journalists having 20 years experience with RTE radio, TV news and as a former RTE Health Correspondent. As well as being a skilled storyteller and professional producer, award-winning journalist and radio producer, she is one of Ireland’s leading trainers in mobile video skills and runs a successful PR consultancy service.
