Roscommon County Council, through the Creative Ireland Creative Communities Job Stimulus Measure 2020, is seeking proposals for the creative sector in County Roscommon to adapt, reposition and reskill themselves or to repurpose their assets/offering to ensure they may continue to engage with their local communities.

Under this one-off funding stream, it is intended that the Creative Communities Job Stimulus Measure will

• place creativity at the heart of economic development,
• provide innovative and collaborative place-making project in local areas,
• provide for the professional development of creative practitioners and creative industries 

Under the Roscommon Creatives Open Call Programme, Roscommon County Council is seeking proposals from artists and creatives which will animate towns or villages in the county to ensure the continued delivery of creative initiatives. Such projects may connect with businesses, public buildings or local communities (e.g. Town Teams, heritage, environmental or other groups) to explore the regeneration or reimagining of place. Roscommon County Council is particularly interested in projects which can be fully or partly disseminated digitally, therefore the artist or community should have their own digital platform.
