Music Artist Residency| October - December 2020
Roscommon County Council, the the support of the Creative Communities Jobs Stimulus Measure 2020, is inviting submissions from full-time professional artists working in the fields of both Dance and Music interested in participating in a residency programme at Roscommon Arts Centre in Autumn 2020. one award will be made to an artist working in each discipline.
Under this one-off funding stream, it is intended that he Creative Communities Jobs Stimulus Measure will:
- Place creativity at he heart of economic development,
- Provide innovative and collaborative place-making projects in local areas,
- Provide for the professional development of creative practitioners and creative industries.
The residencies will run from mid-September until mid-December (3 months). Each artist will be paid a stipend of €2500 and be provided with a studio space at Roscommon Arts Centre for the three-month period, with access to the centre's resources and staff.
