A screenplay adaptation of the award-winning stage play “The Signal Box” by renowned Cavan playwright Brendan McCann to be written by his son, screenwriter Kevin McCann.

The story is based in Belturbet, an Irish border town in Co. Cavan. Gunmen enter Belturbet Railway Station with a plan to crash the express train carrying passengers to a peace conference in Belfast. A hostage situation ensues as the train approaches heading for a doomed derailment.
