To explore, using resource material, offered by Drumhome Heritage Society the archaeological findings at the 4 x marked Locations, as identified in recent Archaeological explorations
To help pupils understand why these were strategically chosen places e.g Along the Wild Atlantic Way. What the benefits of these locations were for travel and for food gathering or growing.
Friends in High Paces We look at Colmcille’s Lineage and Blood Line We learn he was of a Royal Blood Line His people were Kings and Chieftains. The land on which his monastic settlements were established was because of land offered to him for his monasteries and his teaching
